You might ask yourself "how long did it take for me to get here?" Then ask yourself is it reasonable to think I can make major changes in a short time? Of course God makes miracles happen. But, He wants to build a relationship with you. He wants to walk with you down the right path as that relationship grows. You might think of Paul as "miraculously" changed on the road to Damascus. But God wanted to build a relationship. After God's intervention on the Road to Damascus God takes Paul out of the spot light to build relationship and train Paul, Paul writes in Galatians I, "Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to get acquainted with Cephas and stayed with him fifteen days. I saw none of the other apostles—only James, the Lord’s brother (18 & 19). Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also" (Galatians II : 1). Take your time. I will walk alongside you as you take a journey with Christ to find your authentic self.
